Sophie Blume was born from one bride's determination to create the wedding she'd always imagined and the belief that beautiful styling should feel accessible, thoughtful and unforgettable.

Planning my own wedding changed everything.

Like so many brides, I spent years saving inspiration, table scapes, florals, drapery and everything that felt effortlessly beautiful. But when it came to bringing that vision to life, I quickly realised just how expensive it was going to be ! Rather than compromising on the wedding I had always imagined, I decided to try and create it myself.

With a background in fashion and design, I approached my wedding as my biggest design project yet. I immersed myself in floral displays, stationery design, fabric and wedding styling, eventually designing the wedding of our dreams.

In doing so, I saved over £4,000 on our wedding decor alone.

The beginning of Sophie Blume

What started as a personal project quickly became something much bigger.

After sharing my journey online, thousands of people followed along. Brides began asking where my flowers were from, how I created my stationery and, most importantly, whether I could help them create the same look for their own weddings.

That's when I realised I wasn't the only bride searching for a better way.

So i wanted to bridge the gap between luxury wedding styling and real life budgets.

More than flowers

So today, Sophie Blume is more than flowers.

It's a thoughtfully curated collection of floral styling, stationery and design details that work beautifully together. It has come from my love of all things beautiful and creative, but also from wanting to create something that helps couples have the wedding they’ve imagined, without having to compromise on all those little details.

And … this is only the beginning.

Every floral arrangement is consciously composed using our signature flowers, chosen for their remarkably lifelike appearance, natural movement and lasting beauty.

Rather than designing pieces for just one moment, we've created collections that move effortlessly throughout your wedding day. From welcome displays and ceremony styling to your reception, many arrangements can be repositioned to create multiple styling moments from a single piece.

It's a more considered way to style your wedding reducing waste, making the most of your investment and proving that luxury doesn't have to mean excess.
